We're often asked how do you say that name? How did you come up with it?

Well, it's quite easy! Mayoros is Heather's last name. The name she grew up with and continues to use today. It's a pretty simple name when you break it down: mayor + os. Pronounced may-or-is. And yes, believe it or not we do occasionally get the local Mayor's phone calls... hmm. The origin of the surname is Hungarian. Does that surprise you? It does for many who think that it's pronounced differently and believe it to be Greek.  Heather's ancestors immigrated to the United States as early as 1887, and while her family knows most of the Mayoros' in the US, they've found there are still several they do not know.
