The Mayoros Agency Opens in New Location

The Mayoros Agency wins PALMY Award
June 17, 2008

(Rock Hill, SC) –The Mayoros Agency has been awarded a 2008 PALMY Award by the South Carolina Press Association. The award winning entry, produced for Fort Mill real estate agent Linda Hall, was judged to be the 2nd best advertising design among advertising agency produced ads in South Carolina’s 17 daily and more than 90 weekly newspapers. The winning design ran in the Fort Mill Times in 2007. “We strive to create outstanding design that sets our clients’ ads apart, and it is always nice to be recognized for that effort,” said Heather Mayoros, president of The Mayoros Agency.

The PALMY Awards are awarded annually to recognize outstanding newspaper advertising design. The 2008 Awards were for entries that appeared in South Carolina Press Association member newspapers in 2007 and were presented at a banquet in Columbia, SC, on June 12.

Networking Group Announces New Leadership

(Rock Hill, SC) – Heather Mayoros, president of The Mayoros Agency, has been appointed president of the Olde English Networkers, the Rock Hill chapter of BNI®. She had served as vice-president of the chapter since October 2007.

John Burks, president of Covert Investigations, has been appointed vice-president of the chapter. Burks previously served as co-chair of the membership committee.
